I feed Royal Canin Cat food. Royal Canin has a maine coon formula, that I think is fabulous! I switched all of my cats to this formula last year. All of my cats coats shine and look very healthy. They absorb so much of the food, that it makes less waste in the cat litter box. As a breeder, that was an awesome difference for me!!! It also helps with matting issues, tho I believe they need to go through their natural matting and shedding process, there is a certain amount that not even food can do anything for! I start my new babies on the Royal Canin starter, at the age of 4 month's they should be switched to the kitten formula and remain on that until they are one year of age, at which time they need to be switched to the adult "maine coon" formula. They just love it. I highly recommend that all of my buyers continue feeding the Royal Canin program to assure a long, happy, and healthy life.
